Ordinary People, Extraordinary Things
Ordinary People, Extraordinary Things
A day in October along the seashore with a nice sunset.
Sometimes we like to explore New England. Take walks, take photographs and enjoy the areas we find. On this day we found a town in Rhode Island called Chepachet (meaning “where rivers meet”).
A beautiful area with some Chepachet history. The area has many antique shops and stories from some of the local people.
It was a fun afternoon ending up at Wrights dairy farm and bakery a short ride away where we captured a few more images and purchased some pastry. Autumn is in the air.
My Snapseed flow path when on the go and want or need to edit a photo before posting. Hope it helps you!
How was your Summer 2018
We had the opportunity to visit Eastham & Wellfleet Cape Cod. Spent hours on Nauset Lighthouse Beach and drove part of The National Seashore. We had a seafood dinner on the bay side just before sunset giving us time to get into position for the magnificent sunset over the sea. It was a great day. And yes we got a few photographs. Please enjoy this video montage of our day in the sun.
Great day visiting Bristol RI
We had to opportunity to take A one-of-a-kind cruise viewing 10 majestic Lighthouses, 10 islands, popular sights, 60 miles of coastline all while listening to historical facts & folklore ending with a magnificent sunset.
Lighthouses; Poplar Point (Wickford), Plum Beach (North Kingstown), Duch Island (Jamestown), Beavertail (Jamestown), Lime Rock (Newport), Hoat Island (Newport), Rose Island (Newport), Conanicut (Jamestown), and Whale Rock (Narragansett) – destroyed in the Hurricane of 1938.
Randomly visited beautiful locations by the sea.
We had the opportunity to visit Rockport on this overcast, rainy day. It’s a lovely spot with not only Motif #1 still standing proud in the harbor but also surrounded by many other very interesting hidden treasures.
