Thank you for watching.
Met up with the Boston Bruins on June 18, 2011 the night after the rolling rally bringing the Stanley Cup home to Boston.
On Thursday night June 16, 2011 I visited Cruise Night at Gillette Stadium sponsored by Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place.
I meet one of the Mass Cruisers club members Patrick and other club members that told me about the car club and how they cruise here every other Thursday in a rally that takes place in the parking lot in front of the Bass Pro Shop at Gillette Stadium, Patriot Place on route 1 in Foxboro, MA.
It was a great summer night where 1500 to 2000 cars showed up along with up to 400 motor cycles, owners, families and spectators.
The place was full but spread out in such a large venue it didn’t seem to crowded at all.
As you walked up and down each row of vehicles they were organized into groups like Mustang ally, Vet ally, Camaro ally, off Road allies and even motorcycle ally. There was so much to see I just may have to visit them again.
There was a DJ spinning oldies music.
The event started in May this year and runs through the summer months. Check the Mass Cruisers web site for details, dates and times. http://masscruisers.com
Whether you are interested in Cruisin’, Car Shows, Cruisin Nights, tearing up the New England drag strips, or scouting the most interesting bone yards in Southern New England, you will find that the Mass Cruisers Auto Club offers year-round auto-related camaraderie and wholesome activities for the entire family.

Naples, Maine Causeway Construction Schedule Posted; Big Change Coming to Maine’s Sebago Lakes Region
Eliminate the old swing bridge that connects the Naples, Maine Causeway between Long Lake and Brandy Pond and replace it with a permanent span has begun.
For years, the swing bridge has halted traffic while allowing watercraft of all shapes and sizes to pass between Long Lake and Brandy Pond. Now, a new bridge construction project has begun that will allow most boats and all vehicular traffic to proceed unabated in either direction, day and night, every day of the year.
While the debate over the bridge has, at times, been contentious, now that the project has finally been decided upon and begun, all eyes are on its progress and eventual completion and discussion is more focussed on what the end result will be.
After the opening of the new bridge to two way traffic, construction and deconstruction will continue. The old swing bridge will be dismantled and boat traffic will commence by Memorial Day 2012. Paving will be completed throughout the summer of 2012 as well as plantings and landscaping, and general cleanup. The project will come to full completion on May 15, 2013.
