West End Creamery & Family Farm

19 10 2014

West End Creamery & Family Farm is located just a stone’s throw from Route 146—between Worcester, MA and Providence, RI. They are down the hill from Purgatory Chasm State Park. Many come just to relax and enjoy an ice cream cone on our large outdoor deck overlooking Swans Pond. Others spend time with friends on our premier miniature golf course and finding adventure in our 5 acre corn maze in the Fall.

Come in to West End Creamery and stay a while. Absorb yourself in the charm of our post and beam building — solid oak timbers and decor from our dairying days. The waterfront property is a relaxing destination for all ages!

Injoy the fall adventure and corn maze with the family.

Blackstone River

19 10 2014

On a ride back from visiting Purgatory Chasm and the West End Creamery we stopped off to see the Blackstone River area. In this area what used to be a factory is now living spaces and condos. Along the river banks is both a walking and bike path. This time of year as the leaves are changing in New England the repletions on the river was very nice and worth a few photographs.

On A River

18 07 2014

We had the opportunity to spend a day on a river in a boat with friends. It was so relaxing. The sky and clouds looked so nice.

It all started with dinner, friends and cherrystones on the grill. Have you every had cherrystones on the grill? So good!

The next morning we went to the boat. Even thought it’s a fast boat we just cursed down the lazy river taking in all of the sights. In the morning we saw an owl in the tree. It looked like a white owl but were not certain. A second owl came slightly into view hidden behind a branch and some levees.

Got to love New England.  Took a few photographs along the way. I hope you enjoy them.
